JUNE 2020 COVID-19 ALERT BELOW
June 26, 2020
We hope that you and yours are well.
It has been nearly 4 months since the Dance Studio suspended site-based activities. The Washington, D.C. metropolitan area is gradually opening and as the COVID 19 situation evolves our host, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, remains vigilant to ensure the safety of all who enter its premises. The second semester will end with the last class Saturday June 27th and the 2020 summer term will begin the week of July 6th.
We will continue to offer classes to registered teens and adults virtually using Zoom and YouTube platforms at a 10% discounted rate. During this uncertain time, we find that our students and instructors genuinely appreciate this bit of normalcy. Each class offers time to not only learn and fine tune dance moves and techniques, but also the opportunity to touch base with each other. We understand that this routine may seem a bit overwhelming particularly for some of our younger students, but if your dancer has not participated yet, do give it a try. Classes have been rewarding and so much fun!
Needless to say, it is challenging to maintain a quality program under the current circumstances and we heavily rely on tuition to cover staff salaries and related costs. Therefore, if you have an outstanding tuition balance, please submit payment by check or money order payable to St. Mark’s Church (note Dance Studio and student’s name on the memo line) and mail to Rosetta Brooks 8410 Amanda Place, Vienna, VA 22180. Please feel free to contact class instructors Dorothy “Dot” Walker firstname.lastname@example.org, Jessica Sloane email@example.com or me Rosetta Brooks, Artistic Director firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or comments.
Wishing you health and happiness in the spirit of dance!
The staff and students would like to thank everyone who attends our recitals.
