COVID-19 ALERT BELOW
Greetings Parents and Students,
I hope this note finds you and your family safe and well. Sadly, we are all experiencing uncertain and difficult times. We recently received word from Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde (Episcopal Diocese of Washington) that all churches and activities will remain closed until May 16, 2020. The Dance Studio, housed in St. Mark’s church, will suspend classes during this period. The health and well-being of students and staff are our greatest priority.
As all non-profits we are challenged to make unexpected program and financial adjustments but look forward to resuming classes as soon as it is feasible. In the meantime, we offer you the benefit of our thinking on moving forward.
We join the ranks of many dance studios looking for ways to continue to engage students in dance and at home. To this end we are delighted that skilled and committed instructors Jessica Sloane and Dot Walker have created a YouTube video https://youtu.be/7vSv-ilYA_w designed explicitly for children of St. Mark’s Dance Studio!
Should you have any questions or comments, please reach out to me firstname.lastname@example.org, Dot Walker email@example.com or Jessica Sloane firstname.lastname@example.org .
Wishing you and your family the best of health. Keeping all in prayer.
Rosetta Brooks, Artistic Director
St. Mark’s Dance Studio
The staff and students would like to thank everyone who attends our recitals.
